Maria Echevarria
Maria Echevarria asked John G. Stackhouse Jr.:

Hi John, I read Finally Feminist and now I am reading Partners in Christ....I don't know if it is a language barrier, but I do not clearly understand the Methodology you propose. Is there a blog where you summarize it or the specific chapter of the book that delineates it. Also, your Theory is that Men and women are equal with exception to the biology? Thank you!

John G. Stackhouse Jr. Maria, my full-length approach to theology is the book called "Need to Know: Vocation as the Heart of Christian Epistemology."

As for women and men being equal, yes, I believe they are--regardless of biology! But perhaps you are asking me if I think they are identical, and no, I don't think so. I do think that some sort of gender essentialism marks out men and women from each other, as I argue in this book and in "Finally Feminist."
