How did your association with your publisher occur and become finalized?

Alyssa Maxwell My agent submitted the first manuscript in my Gilded Newport series, along with a series overview and basic outlines for a few more stories. Once the publisher expressed an interest in acquiring the series, my agent and I reviewed the contract, and came to an agreement that was beneficial to all parties.
