So sorry to only be seeing your question now. The short answer is I do the best I can! I've been to the UK although not the Isle of Wight. I search out anything I can find in print and on the internet, and using Google satellite is really helpful in being able to get a feel for how things are situated. I hope I've done the area justice. I'm so glad you're enjoying the series. Thank you for listening to them!

So sorry to only be seeing your question now. I haven't heard either way if Hallmark will be making another movie in my series. I think these things tend to move pretty slowly. But thanks for asking!

Hi Kait! Thank you for being the first to get on that line! And for writing. Yes, I'm happy to say I just finished up Murder at Wakehurst (which is across the street from Ochre Court), and there are three more definitely planned after that.

In Murder at Chateau sur Mer, Emma goes to the Reading Room to confront a potential suspect, and through her experience I explain the type of private men's club it was at the time.

Hi Diana. Although each mystery stands alone, there is an evolution to Emma Cross's character and the events in her life. For that reason it's probably best to read them in order, but people who have picked up a later book have said they didn't feel it detracted from their enjoyment of the story. I hope that answers your question!

So sorry to take so long to answer this. The good news is that yes, Eva Kaminsky is narrating Murder at Rough Point right now, so the audio book should be available by early spring.

Hi Juanita! Yes, there are more Gilded Newport mysteries to come. Thanks for asking. Murder at Rough Point will be released in August, and I'm just now writing Murder at Chateau sur Mer. I love writing this series and have no plans to stop any time soon.

My agent submitted the first manuscript in my Gilded Newport series, along with a series overview and basic outlines for a few more stories. Once the publisher expressed an interest in acquiring the series, my agent and I reviewed the contract, and came to an agreement that was beneficial to all parties.

Hi John. I can only speak for my part of the process, as my publisher has their own schedule in bringing the book to completion, and some of their activities begin long before I've handed in the book. It takes me six months to complete a project, from character development and plotting (several weeks), to first draft (about four to five months), to editing and polishing in the last few weeks.
