How do you get inspired to write?

Christopher Bowron Usually I will watch a really cool movie or funny enough listen to a really catchy song. Somehow, this makes me want to create. I play guitar and every now and again, I get the urge to write a song. I think they go hand in hand. I bought the James Patterson Master series a while back and I like to listen to that. He is inspiring. I force myself to read- The Fire in Fiction by Donald Maass. I use that book as my writing bible.

Phase two - I like to get cozy beside my fireplace at home in Ontario, or on my porch in Florida where I can see the Gulf of Mexico. Early in the morning or late at night.
