It occurs to me that in having created an entire town full of characters--some fully developed, others more superficially, as is necessary with a single novel--you have opened the door to more books that zero in on different characters, possibly during different time periods. Have you considered writing an offshoot of The Flood Girls in the future?

Richard Fifield I would absolutely adore continuing the stories of the people of Quinn! There is so much more to tell, and tiny universes that deserve exploration. It really depends on the success of the book. I am just as desperate as anyone to find out what happens with the softball team! Thanks for an awesome question.
