After reading your Book " Midnight Texas", I would love more from that series. Do you have more planned and if so when ? I have all the Sookie Stackhouse books as well as the Lizzy and Diesel. Love your work ! Thanks !

The second book, "Day Shift," came out last year, and the final book, "Night Shift," will be out this May. The Lizzy and Diesel books are not mine. But thanks for enjoying my work.

Charlaine, have you considered doing a novel about the life and times of "Barry the bell-boy"? He's almost as interesting as Sookie in some ways. I'm kinda sad he wasn't featured in True Blood as much as he should have been. For many viewers, their first exposure to Barry was in Midnight, Texas. I guess he's one of those sacrifices that had to be made when they changed the story line. Sigh.

I know you have to remain diplomatic regarding the Teagarden Mysteries but I wish they had chosen another actress for this role. I enjoyed the written series, but the acting is utterly awful in the film versions, I just cannot tolerate it. :( Do you ever feel like film producers miss the boat when making their vision of the characters you have created?
