Hi. In the "Authors Looking for Readers" someone just posted an advertisement for a book that's being "released." Also, some writers have specifically solicited reviews on Amazon, etc. It was my impression that the thread was specifically looking for beta readers and feedback, not to provide fake "reviews." Is there clarified anywhere? Thx.

Well, this was intended to be a group to support all Indy, and new writers regardless of what stage their books are at in the publishing world. However, this was not a group intended to seek out "fake reviews". This is a practice I despise (which is why it personally takes me a long time to review a shared book -- because I actually read the book.)
If you see this happening, I would appreciate if you would let me know, and I'll remove any such post/requests.

I have written the book of the summer, "The Beast of Brazil." It has everything that is happening in Brazil right now in a tight thriller - a criminal is building an Olympic stadium in Manaus in the Amazon jungle. That happens to be ground zero for the Zika virus. Olympic athletes are protesting the location of the site, which happens to be sinking. Corruption is everywhere. How would you promote this book? Thx.
