Annarita Guarnieri
Annarita Guarnieri asked John Gwynne:

Hello, Mr. Gwynne. I'm a professional translator (and a fantasy addict to boot) and I'm translating Ruin right now. I love the book, which is bringing me back to the epic fantasy I used to translate in the Eighties (David Gemmell and David Eddings, among others). Being a pet lover (I had a Belgian Shepherd I adored and right now I'm proud to be owned by 12 cats, I wanted to ask you... does Storm really die?

John Gwynne Hi Annarita,

It's great to hear from you. Wow, what a fabulous job you have! Thank-you so much for the kind words about Ruin and the series in general. David Gemmell and David Eddings were both huge inspirations to me, and have definitely inspired any writing I try to do, so to mention them in the same sentence as Ruin has made my day. It must have been amazing to work on their novels.

A Belgian Shepherd - beautiful dogs - and 12 cats! 12!!!!! Fantastic.

I would love to tell you about Storm - believe me, I've had more emails about her than any other character in the series, but I wouldn't want to spoil Wrath for you. What I can tell you is that Wrath is written and going through editing right now, and due out in the UK sometime in November 2016, though I'm not sure what the Italian schedule is.

Sorry that I couldn't be more helpful, but I hope you don't have too long to wait :)

Best,

John
