Jeri Walker
Jeri Walker asked Gerald Freeman:

If you could only choose one craft to work on for the rest of your life, would you pick writing or sculpture? Why?

Gerald Freeman Hi Jeri,
now that is a tough one. However, I would definitely go with writing because it is much easier to share your thoughts and ideas with people on a large scale than it is with sculpture. For one, there are no transport costs for a book, or very little, but shipping stone is a costly business, so my exhibitions are pretty much confined to the Portuguese public. Also, the reading audience is more accessible and if I consider what my objectives are and what I would like to fulfill in my lifetime, the unselfish answer would be writing books. Luckily, for the time being I am able to do both and maximize my creative outlets, making life more interesting and fun for me and the people who enjoy my work.
