Have you ever actually heard of any proof of a burial site with both an ancient man and a wolf-like remains together? If not, what a wonderful premise you have created!

W. Bruce Cameron Hi! That was actually the thought-starter for The Dog Master. I read about a ritualistic burial of a man and wolf done some 30,000 years ago, and started pondering how we could have been friends with our mortal enemies, since wolves would have seen us as lunch.
