Michaela asked Elizabeth Hoyt:

I am a fan of your Maiden Lane series. I can't wait for Duke of Sin to be released. I was just wondering if you ever plan on adding people of colour to one of the novels?

Elizabeth Hoyt Yup. You've already seen Jean-Marie, Eve Dinwoody's African born bodyguard/footman who, admittedly, was only a secondary character. I've just finished Once Upon a Moonlit Night with Hippolyta Royle, whose mother was native Indian (from India). Not a person of color, but a minority, is Peaches who I hope will be the heroine of an upcoming novella. She's Jewish.

But I bet you're thinking the hero/heroine of a full-length novel, and yes, I'd like to do that, too. I don't have plans at the moment (and I already have the my books plotted through #12 of Maiden Lane so it'll be a while) but eventually, yes. it will happen when the right character comes to me. ;-)
