What inspired you to create a world within a world for the night and nothing series? I absolutely love the first two books. Already pre-ordered the third. Thanks for such a unique and creative trilogy.

Katherine Harbour I love the idea of a hidden world and a race of spirits only certain people can see. The inspiration came from stories and accounts of faeries from Celtic folklore, where the faeries sometimes mimic the lives of mortals and their kingdoms exist within ruins and caves. If you like, you can read these stories in the book Visions and Beliefs in the West of Ireland by Lady Gregory.
