Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed "Salt to the Sea." Yes, I've read books that have had that kind of effect on me. To give a recent example, I adored "All the Light We Cannot See" by Anthony Doerr and thought about it for days and days. Such a gorgeous book. Thanks for asking! :)
