For showing the world that yes, there are adults out there who choose NOT to believe you For proving you had to fix the situation yourself. And finally, for proving not all survivors fall prey to drugs, mental illness and prostitution. WE are the strong ones. WE survived. And WE are happy. ??

This is not a question? but I really just began reading again as part a New Years resolution to read more, along with a resolution to call my brother and sisters more. This book was number 3 this year for me.... I am so glad I read it, you are a great! sister... the book made me think about my brother and sisters all while I read it....
