What did you think about the influence of certain internet websites or apps like CouchSurfing? Do you think that it's more like a save option or it's always better to go on an adventure withouth anything planned?

I used internet during my travels, and it made things much easier, and I LOVED meeting people via these sites like CS. On the other hand, getting lost is great too - I think some sort of healthy combination is the best ;)
