Fall away series changed my life! I praise you, and I praise it! At the end of Aflame I saw that you wrote that each character was a part of you. Did any of these relationships reflect your relationships, or the way they lived, et cetera?

The relationships, not really. There were aspects, of course, I took from experience, but as a whole, those were fictional. The characters and the life lessons they took from their experiences was very real, though. Learning how to stand up for yourself, trust your instincts, stand strong even if means standing alone...yes, those things were important to me to write about.

Hi! When Jared gives Tate the bracelet at the end of Bully, what does the coin mean? I get the phone, the key, and the heart, but I don't know if there's something I'm missing or not getting. It may be that I'm not very good at english, but I've read the book a couple of times, and always end up asking the same question.

Hello! I just started reading Falling Away. (And I can't wait to watch K.C. pop like a little repressed balloon.) I am curious about the town this series takes place in, since I grew up in Illinois myself. Is Shelburne Falls based on a real life town? And if so, is it Rockford?
