Hello, Mr. Alcorn! I am a big fan, and I have a quick question for you. When did you first take an interest in writing? Also, do you have any book recommendations for me? My favorite genre is Christian Fiction.

Randy Alcorn:
Randy, I'm in the early stages of DEADLINE, and my paperback copy offers some rather tight lines - which slows down these mid-60's eyes! I know that I've read other books you've written - and liked them, as I grabbed this title, quickly, in a local 2nd hand store. Do you believe that we, Church USA, have tools, manpower, premises to alleviate much of homelessness of refugees, both here and in the world?

Randy Alcorn:
Dear Randy, thanks for directing me to the fact that New Jerusalem will be a physical city, not a symbolic one, and that we will receive physical, glorified bodies. I very much accept this and cannot wait. There is one verse regarding Mount Zion in Hebrews that confuses me: "you have not come to a mountain that can be touched" (12:18). Here it seems this city is intangible?

I'm halfway through DOMINION, after reading and enjoying DEADLINE, quite a bit. However, I have to ask why have you made the reader wade through all the descriptive details - when such didn't seem to handcuff your previous effort? I cannot imagine the research that you had to wrap into this book, but the 'insider' racial knowledge appears to both vast and accurate (at least, from my perspective). God Bless, Tom
