I recently read your novel Devoted and enjoyed the amount of depth into your portrayal of Christianity. This might be too personal, but did you do research for these parts, and do you come from a Christian background?

Jennifer Mathieu I am DEEPLY SORRY for the delay as I only JUST NOW realized readers could ask me questions here!! To answer your question, I was raised Roman Catholic and pretty intensely, too. I went to Catholic school for 13 years. Currently I attend a progressive Lutheran church. I consider myself a progressive Christian. Thanks for your question and for reading DEVOTED!
