Whats the best thing about being a published author that is different then just being a writer?

Addison Dixon Knowing the possibility that the book's readership has reached/is reaching a wider audience instead of just family and close friends. Plus, I believe it is a great opportunity to share my story with others, since I've always enjoyed telling stories.
