The process for a new author would be very, very different from what I do now as an established, bestselling author, so I can't really speak on the process. I have no idea what "new" authors do these days.
But I can tell you that your voice is the only unique thing you have in a very crowded field, so when you write, jump in with both feet and put as much of your voice in the story as you can without worrying about what is popular or what the newest trend might be.

Hi Lori. I think I have read all your books and Love them but Causing Havoc is my favorite. I hope Dean pops up in the new series. I read a question about your writing as LL Foster and you said you had a story in mind - my question is will it be a continuation of Gabby & Luther or a totally new story?
