Goodreads asked Eva Marie Everson:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Eva Marie Everson Thank you for this question. I have three books about to release:
1. The Bipolar Experience, which I wrote for LeeAnn Jefferies. I'm excited to help share the story of a woman with bipolar disorder who became a successful Eileen Ford model.
2. God Bless Us Every One, which releases next month from Abingdon. The idea didn't COME to me ... it CAME to me. Abingdon picked up the phone, called me, and said they wanted a book with reference to A Christmas Carol but not a retelling. When I read more about Dicken's life, the story of Charlie Dixon came quite naturally.
3. The One True Love of Alice-Ann ... now THERE is a story! The name came to me first. One afternoon while I sat at my desk working, the title simply popped into my head. I started doodling notes on a piece of paper. Within about an hour the story was full-fleshed and ready for me to write the synopsis. The germ for it, however, came about from a story neighbors told me years ago about his time in WWII. This is not THEIR story, but their story surely inspired it. :)
