What made you start writing stories of your own?

Nenia Campbell I'm a picky reader, and even as a child, books often didn't end the way I wanted them to. As a kid, if I hated a book, I would rewrite the ending or offending scene to my liking. (I am such a dork, I know.) Then I realized that I could write original books of my own. Mind = blown!

Toni Morison has a great quote that explains on this:

'If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.'
