Hi, I'm currently reading The Oracle Glass and Genevieve's knife-throwing dwarf bodyguard was just introduced. Is he where you got the idea for Leonello from? Also, I'm really excited to read The Alice Network when it comes out!

That was the book where I got the idea that a knife-throwing dwarf could be a bodyguard, yes. He was a very small part in that book, and I wondered what I could do with a hero in such a role. Leonello ended up surprising me in lots of ways.
