I have to ask: Are you an HP Lovecraft fan? I just read The Gate. I have to say there were some real Lovecraftian things there that freaked me out perfectly. This is the first book of yours I've read. Now I have to risk my sanity and read the rest.

Yes, I am. You're exactly right - The Gate was my attempt at making a modern ode to Lovecraft. So glad to hear that it freaked you out. That's a great compliment.
The Dark takes place in the same universe as The Gate and I'm planning to write a joint sequel to both of those books. More Lovecraftian monstrosities are in the works!

I'm friggen ecstatic about discovering your novel Devoured! Please forgive this frost brained Canuck for being late to becoming a fan of your work sir. I read Devoured then bought Ravaged, Consumed, Sheol, Tartarus, Ash, Ashers War, Madness and Gehenna with the free download of The Gate as well.
