I know you have a family, so my question is, where do you write without interruption or are you okay with a lot happening around you?

If I have to, then I write at home, but I try to go to a coffee shop so I can focus. I wear ear buds at the coffee shop, but usually the background noise doesn't bother me too much as long as no one is directly speaking with me.

Where do you get your ideas for your novels? They are amazing, but also brutal and intense, so I was curious as to how you come up with the specific topics of each book. Absolutely love your writing. Those girls was one of the first books, to make me stay up all night during pregnancy, while keeping me on the edge of my seat. Not an easy thing to accomplish by a writer, with the exhaustion of pregnancy.

I'm dying to know how the girl from Still Missing is doing! Also, as an adoptee, I have to say that Never Knowing was AMAZING. You got the thoughts and feelings of an adoptee so much that I thought you were adopted. Powerful stuff. I wait for your books to come out like a starving dog begging for a bone. Nothing compares. What is your favorite book of all time?
