Hi, Mr. Barclay. I am a huge fan of your work and have read all your books. I just finished The Twenty-Three. This trilogy is like a magnum opus! Some loose strings seemed to be left dangling though. Was that intentional? Will we never learn [spoilers removed]

Linwood Barclay I can tell you that Barry will be fine, and will be back next year in Parting Shot, the very last book I set in Promise Falls. And yes, David's story is a little open-ended, but I will explain what happens to him in that book. (Spoiler: he won't be charged.)
