Does it take long for you to write a book?

Linwood Barclay A first draft usually takes me about three months. Some have taken less time, some more. And how much more time I spend on it depends on how good that first draft is. Some have required very little work, but others have taken more time to rewrite than it took to write the first draft. About every second or third book is like that for me.

I just finished the Promise Falls books and loved all of them but I would really like to know if any further novels will resolve some of the characters such as David Harwood, Cal Weaver, and Det. Duckworth? Sure hope so.

New cover (new release?) of The Accident in e format. Just read it. I am pretty sure I read it back in 2011 but no Goodreads post. LOVED IT Can't find it on Goodreads today (Sep 11/23) under new cover/date. The two listing show publication dates on editions 1700? and 1865? Is anyone at DoubleDay dealing with this? I refuse to post a review on an addition I've not read. Thanks.
