Kristan Higgins Ah, that's a common question. The answer is, you don't. Readers are in complete control of your career. You're in control of your books, but not if readers relate to them. It's a combination of hard work, perseverance, luck, timing... I wish I could give you advice, but the truth is, if there were a way, then every author would take that path. Know what I mean?

First of all, I love your books: ever since My one and only came out in Italy, I made sure I got each and every one of them; I'm lucky enough that I can as easily read in English as I do in Italian, so getting your new books on my Kindle as soon as they are out isn't a problem. Back to the question: I was wondering, how do you come out with the beautiful landscapes and the settings of your books?
