Goodreads asked Bryan Davis:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Bryan Davis I have never had traditional writer’s block, that is, I always have ideas, something to write. The only obstacle I face is deciding which idea to use. Sometimes I will begin writing a scene and then realize along the way that it doesn’t work. So I write it again with a different idea.

I have heard from others that playing music can punch a hole in the block. Others go back and edit a previous scene, which gets the creative juices flowing.
