How involved were you in the making of the movie "Eragon"? Did you have much of a say in what you imagined it to be like?

As you probably realize, the film represents the Fox studio’s version of the story. I had very little involvement with its development. Seeing my world and characters portrayed in a different light was a surreal experience. Yet whatever the movie may or may not be, the books remain untouched, and through them people can enjoy Eragon and Saphira’s adventures the way I envisioned them.

Hi Christopher! I love your series so much...Though I still haven't gotten around to reading the fourth book [inheritance] I will soon. I have one question. How did you come up with the ancient language? Even the language the dwarfs and the urgles speak. Like what was your inspiration? It always amazed me when I read your books that you created such an amazing and detailed world. Not many authors go to such lengths.
