Hmmm. If we're talking movies, it's Harry and Sally from When Harry Met Sally. I think I've watched that movie 50 times. My wife and I know every line. It was our go-to movie when we were dating. When it comes to books, it goes in the opposite direction. David and Catherine Bourne in Hemingway's Garden of Eden are my favorite because you know from the outset that it will end in tragedy. The steady disintegration of their young marriage makes for compelling reading.
