Tim Ellis I have a few favourites. From the old days! Dempsey and Makepeace; Bodie & Doyle; Dalziel & Pascoe; Frost and whoever he was teamed up with at the time; the old Sherlock (Basil Rathbone) & Watson; Gently & Bacchus; Morse & Lewis; Saga & Martin from The Bridge; I've just watched the new Amazon Bosch series and read all the Michel Connelly books - Bosch is an excellent character, but his partner not so.
