My favorite fictional couple is Meggie Cleary and the priest in The Thorn Birds. Why? Because their love is forbidden, and the sexual tension between them practically makes the pages vibrate throughout the book. Fantastic writing.

Are you planning to write a sequel to "You'll Like It Here, Everybody Does"? My sense in reading it (along with its actual content) felt very much to me like you were rushing to share so many crucial themes/concepts - critically important ones, especially for American YAs, that the book could have gone on another 300 pages, integrating, revealing, explaining, anticipating so much that was just barely touched on.
