Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

H.L. Stephens Elizabeth Bennett and Fitzwilliam Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. I love them because they are two of the most passionate and most flawed lovers in fictional history. They do their best to ignore their feelings, then hide their feelings, then humbly ingratiate themselves to each other in ways that touch you to core of your humanity. They are a lovely pair, and I never tire of reading their courtship. Of their mishaps and misadventures as they work towards discovering their love for each other, taming the weaker side of each other and bringing out the better part as well.
