Walking Disaster
question
i cant seem to get my hands on walking disaster and it is driving me crazy. i want to know what it is about. i looked at the book reviews and their not too helpful. can someone give me some idea of what happens in the book before i lose my mind?
Would you think if i skip Beautiful Disaster I won't understand his point of view?
It's the same story as Beautiful Disaster just in Travis's POV :)
It is the exact same story as BD but told from Travis's perspective. Some of the scenes are the same but most are original. If you loved BD you will love WD.
I felt like I was reading the same book also. It gave a little more insight to Travis's past in the very beginning, but really was just BD re told. I didn't hate the book, but read it pretty fast as I already knew what the deal was with the story. I would say the best part was the epilogue, she wrapped it up nicely.
Its about a guy who falls in love with a girl who fights her feelings. She comes from a home where her family is screwed up. She meets travis and he is a fighter in what the school calls the "circle" he's the bad boy she loves but wants to stay away from. In Beautiful Disaster you get it from the girls pov. In Walking Disaster you get it from the guys pov. You need to read Beautiful Disaster first otherwise it won't set you up for the story from the guy's pov. Go to BN.com and look up Beautiful Disaster, read its book description and then you will know what Walking Disaster is about. Just different Povs. I liked both books equally.
If you only read one of the two of these books I would definitely read Beautiful Disaster. Walking Disaster is NOT a continuation of the BD. BD is basically a stand alone in my own opinion. The story is the same in Walking Disaster but you won't understand certain scenes unless you have read BD.
Where have you been looking for the book? Ive seen it pretty much everywhere in the stores and it's on Amazon. IF you haven't read BD you could still keep up with WD but I don't think you'd get the full effect of it! I loved both books! Yes, WD did repeat scenes of BD but it's from a whole new perspective and there are things added because you are seeing Travis' view instead of Abby's. I LOVE Travis! At first he sorta comes off as a hot-head/short fuse, but you get the back story in WD as to why he is the WAY that he is. And there is something romantic about a guy who will give and do anything for the woman that he loves, to no end! At times in BD Abby got on my nerves though, being so indecisive and unresponsive.
Its just like beautiful disaster execpt told in travis`s eyes. And there are some extra stuff told since abby was not with him all the time
Amia,
I purchased my book thru Amazon on line, downloaded to my kindle and read in one day.

Tell me about it. These reviews aren't helpful at all and its driving me crazy!!!
Its out at Barns and Noble... The Beautiful Diaster was written from the female's side... Walking Disager is from Travis or the males side.... They go hand in hand over all..... I was as hooked as the first time, however I think I might have liked Beautiful Disater a bit more as the story was fresh..... if you like basic love stories then I would say go for it
