Okay Everyone! I drew names randomly. If you changed your mind and can't do it, message me so I can maybe work a swap.
Instructions that hopefully make sense. ;)
The person to the left will choose for the person whose name is to the right in the second column from their list up above. Make your choices by June 1st please so your partner has the whole month to finish her/his book.
For example: Sophia has Suzan so Sophia will pick a book for Suzan to read off Suzan's list. Sophia will leave her choice for Suzan here in the comments. Suzan will read it and come back here and share her thoughts by the end of August.
Ready, set, go!!!!!

Oh no! I missed the deadline. Have fun everyone and maybe there will be another pick for Sept. Looking forward to reading about what everyone thought of their books.

10. Loving Miss Darcy by Nancy Kelley
Happy reading!!! :)

It is a clean read as are all her books but she does such a good job with new angles. Love the scenes when Lizzie walks into Netherfield to visit her sick sister. Enjoy.
(I would have gone with any of the first three but this is a favorite of mine.)

Thank you - will get right on it. I have not even read the reviews of this one but will do so and I like to read the Samples also.

I read the reviews by Meredith, Ceri and Sophia and read that they liked it. A little high priced for a kindle book. I may re-join kindle unlimited for this as just buying this equals my monthly subscription.
Now that method of choice appears sound to me, Kirk. I practically do 'eenie meenie minie moe' when I pick so no judgment here. :)
I loved Nancy's first story in the series so I'm sure Georgiana's story will be a delight. Thanks!

Ah, man! We definitely want you in the next one, Talia. I'm happy to know that we can count on you for the next Someone Pick It that will go up mid-September.

I loved this book from the POV of Darcy's dog.

Hi Georgianna, Enjoy " Master Under Good Regulation" by KaraLouise.
I loved this book from the POV of Darcy's dog.

I'm equally intrigued by this one! Thanks!

Thanks Suzan!! Looking forward to reading it. Cheers!

Anyway, I’ve heard great things about The Darcys of Pemberley by Shannon Winslow, so I’ll pick that for you.
And Shannon: thank you so much for picking the delightfully titled Mary Bennet and the Bloomsbury Coven for me! I have already bought it, so it will be very convenient.
And last, Sophia: thank you for posting on my lonely blog about The Watsons! I tried to reply, but once again the reply field is not appearing at the bottom of the page, just as happened with your last blog. Who knows if I am right about JA giving up because the plot wouldn’t work, but can you imagine Mr. Howard being able to marry Emma Watson when his patron, Lord Osborne, wanted to marry her as well? And when he already has five dependents (his widowed sister and her four children)? At a minimum, Mrs. Blake would have to be married off; and then he’d need to find another living.
I get how you feel about her work--every word feels so perfect, and that perfection seems effortless. But her manuscripts tell a different story: she slogged and polished like the rest of us! Just to better ultimate effect, sigh.

Glad you're back in the loop, Abigail. I hate it when glitches like that happen and make me crazy. :)
I don't have a strong analytical mind so I was very taken with your The Watsons incompleteness theory. Bummer about the comments section going wonky.

No problem Abigail. Thanks for the pick. I look forward to reading it.

Five stars! This is the sleeper of the year. The author is new to Austen-inspired fiction, and there's been no promotion. Please pass on the name of the author to others: Mary Flannery. The book title's a bust to search for on Amazon due to the symbol in the title. She has only one review, so I encourage you to support this new member of our addiction! http://amzn.com/B00R3U6MYI
Yay! I thought it looked good when I read the blurb. I had to search by her name instead of the title when I looked it up earlier. Glad you liked it, Suzan! I'm definitely adding it.

Here's how it will work:
Sophia will match people up and leave a comment with a list of who will choose for whom.
When you see the person you are to pick for, then just look at their list in the above comments and leave a new comment with their name and the book you chose for them by Saturday, August 1st.
You also need to watch and see what book your person chose from your list for you.
You have the rest of the month to read the book.
So if this sounds like something you would like to do, just comment below leaving your name and list of book choices for someone to pick your August book.
