Yay!!! Blade Heir sequel!!! And a character guide! *squeals of delight* :D
I'm currently still working on the first draft of my fantasy novel. It's coming along slowly, but I've got a writing schedule now, and if (that's a big if!!) I stick to it, I should be done by the end of the year. I'm also working on developing back stories for my characters, and that's been fun. I'm really enjoying getting to know them better!! If you'd like to meet one of my characters, I interviewed her over on my blog yesterday. She'd love to meet you! :)

Anyway, I have several ideas going through my head while I'm writing the "Light Horse Dark Horse" series, but I'm really excited to talk about my most current project.
I call it "The Aethon Chronicles" a Young Adult fantasy series of four full-length novels, almost like "Light Horse Dark Horse" but WAY different.
Inspired by some of my favorite stories of the Old Testament, "The Aethon Chronicles" is set in a world with civilizations similar to that of Ancient Greece, but its inhabitants are races of equine-like creatures with almost human qualities. Among them are the main characters, the Horses of the kingdom/city-state of Aethon, who each play a divinely-appointed vital role in the preservation of their people.
So... the first novel is King of Aethon, about a young stallion name Leon.
SPOILER ALERT: This is based/inspired by the life story of David before he official became king.
I accidently published it (I was rushing), while it still needs a lot more editing/revising, so I pulled it back until a later date (2016 or 2017).
Lesson learned: don't publish until you're really satisfied with the work.
REALLY excited about these books. You'll actually find out about how are started the series soon!

Thanks. I thought about announcing the project until The Soter Herd is released, but I couldn't hold it in that I had to get it out of my chest! :)
Do you have a title for your novel, yet, or still working on it?

Great, it's best to take your time.

While I'm releasing The Bow of Destiny in a few weeks, I have the next book on the series in the process of publishing 4/18/16 and the final book next year about this time. I also got an interesting offer about converting my novels to graphic novels today so I'm investigating that. Otherwise, I've got about 3-4 more fantasy series to develop after The Bow of Hart Saga

I'm working on a story I did during the last Camp Nano session. It started out as a four-part, now it's a two-part. Hopefully they will both be full-length novels.
There have been quite a few revisions since July. ;)
And I discovered a few things that made me realize that I need to have more of the world's history set in stone (more or less) before I can continue writing the actual story.
First draft.

Take your time. It'll come to you. I'm learning the same way.

Thanks for sharing, but I think this post would fit better in the Promote Your Book thread.
Thanks!

Thanks, Daniel! Though, I'm planning to release the first novel of my "project" sometime next year or 2017, once I'm complete with the "Light Horse Dark Horse" series. But I'm hoping to be done writing The Soter Herd by the end of this year!

I'm working on my own stories. It was inspired by("The Avengers 1", "Thor 2: The Dark World", "Captain America 2: Winter Soldier", and "The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron".)

Super hero stories inspired by super heroes! Really cool and creative! I love the Avengers!

I am looking for good novelistic treatments of this period for inspiration. I have all the "hard" history books I need.

I currently have a lot going on in my writing life; too many ideas for too many stories all at once.... I guess that's better than writer's block, though. Besides a developing poetry book, I'm co-authoring a children's mystery novel, writing a reminiscent novel about a childhood friendship, writing another novel revolving around a metaphor of Christ's love for us and for the lost, and writing yet another metaphorical novel about something similar, just presented in a completely different way, complete with all the elements of a 15th century royal expedition.

My published work, When Lyric Met Limerick, is available in ebook. When Lyric Met Limerick

Sounds cool! Isn't it funny how books start to write themselves, and they end up totally different from what we'd planned? ;)

Spoiler alert, this book is entitled "The Guardian", and its set in "ancient times" (Greece, Rome, Perisia, Israel, etc.)
It's kind of like "Light Horse Dark Horse", but based on the events and characters of the Old Testament... in a whole new level of "Fantasy!"
Really excited for these series!

All of my books have a spiritual vein through them and Tobias is a pastor's son who believes his good works are enough to save him, until one day he discovers how wrong he was!

Brother James: Growing Up With the Messiah
The campaign runs till dec 27 and if it's successful, then everyone who nominates me gets a FREE copy from Kindle.
This group doesn't seem to be active, but in case anyone is reading this, please nominate my book and spread the word:

My sister is also pregnant with my nephew so I want to try and write some children's stories

One is about two gorillas from the Milwaukee County Zoo that I have heard many stories about and one of the gorillas has had all the attention and the other not at all. I am doing a hero vs. legend type book on how the two gorillas are of one aspect and a worldly look on heroes and legends.
The Second is about a man who doesn't talk. It takes place in London and I am waiting further direction from God on that story.
The Third is about my childhood and the Kids in the neighbor hood where I grew up. It is called Mrs. Brown's Little Indians. I hope to make it a series.
My Fourth project is about these twins who receive a special gift from there grandma the day of their grandfathers funeral and the gift takes them through the Bible and the must collect artifacts from the places and times they travel.
Here is were you can get my published book.

I hope this is acceptable and appreciate you coming out of your comfort zones.

I am marketing through work, Instagram, church, and possibly Christmas markets if I can get a table. lol

I'll start things off by saying that I'm currently outlining the sequel to The Blade Heir and simultaneously working on a PDF character guide with histories, places, and lore about the world in the novel.
Another side project I've got cooking is a course for self-published authors on how to create their own book covers. I'm hoping to create video tutorials for authors (no matter their skill level) on how to design a cover in Photoshop and understand the rules of composition in art. It'll be a big project, so it'll be tough juggling it with writing.
If any of you are interested in that future course, please sign up for my mailing list to get updates. You'll receive a PDF guide on free design resources and a mini email course of 3 major mistakes authors make when designing their own book covers. Just scroll down this page and you'll see the sign-up box :)
Okay I'm done!
What projects are you working on right now?
