Krissy | 71 comments Questions about option 3...Do you want a specific reference to or about a "mother" in the book with the description or just referencing the "description/characteristic" a mother would have? Also, some mothers in NA books are not looked at as a positive character. Example O for Overbearing. Do you just want positive characteristics?
Thanks

Hi Krissy
It does not have to be a mother showing that behaviour/description/characteristic - it was just an easy reference for the book I selected, though it can be if it works.
Absolutely is can be a negative characteristic like overbearing - I know of a few books to fit in that category :)
Hope the challenge isn't too complicated. I started off with the idea for option 1 and 2 and then thought up option 3 and couldn't disregard it.

M- Maternal Black Lies 5/6 (4*)

After getting the news that her father was killed in action. Ember took on the responsibilities for the family. Her mother just couldn't cope. Hanne | 758 comments Dee wrote: "How was this months challenge? Too hard?"

I thought it would be harder. It was sometimes difficult to describe the theme of the book, but I read more NA books than I thought so I could choose. Great challenge!

Krissy | 71 comments It was a great challenge. I like that you give options and seeing what other readers come up with. Plus, all these challenges add books to my TBR list :)
