VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE discussion

You ever see that horror/comedy mockumentary, What We Do in the Shadows? Yeah, a little ridiculous...but it's fun. Well it's being turned into a TV Show now!

It'll air on FX and will will star Doug Jones who played Abe Sapien in the Hellboy movies. He's also no stranger to playing vampires as he played one of the ancient vampires in The Strain and will play Count Orlock in the upcoming Nosferatu remake (which I am anxiously looking forward to, despite the fact that I hate the current remake craze).

I personally thought that What We Do in the Shadows was a little campy. But if it's gonna be on FX it'll probably be dark and edgy. I'll give it a try when it comes out.

I LOVE. What we do in the shadows. I'd rather it NOT be a tv show, though. The movie is perfect just the way it is. I really like Doug Jones, though so I'll at least try it. I think he will be a great Count Orlok.

I think It'll be worth at least checking out. I think he'll be a good Olrlock too, can't wait.

Saw the trailer. Hey, that guy who plays the nerdy drug dealer in Better Call Saul is in there. I love his character on that show!

It was on tonight, only caught half of it but I thought it was pretty funny...although the movie is still better. I'll have to watch the rest of it tomorrow. Anyone else catch it?

I will definitely be watching it, love the movie. I'm just sad they had to take another international production and relocate it to the US. I'm a bit tired of seeing only US cities on my screen, there are so many great countries out there.
