I'll second the recommendations for The Little Prince and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Both are great books that can be read in one day, easily.

I missed Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, because my copy includes the second book in the series, Through the Looking Glass. It's 510 pages.
I enjoyed both books, and like Loretta and Andrew, I recommend them as well.
You're most welcome, Amanda!

I'm looking forward to seeing your bookshelf!

I know it's silly, but it helps me keep going and puts a smile on my face.
So, has anyone seen a list of how long the books are? Or can you remember ones you have read that were quick and painless?
