Not sure if y'all have already viewed or participated in this thread about the espionage genre:

but its got a lot of content to mull over. Especially helpful for anyone interested in classic espionage; or for newcomers to the genre. Would be keen to hear some fresh discussion on, in, around, or about this 'purist' side of things.

Matt (theboardrider) | 46 comments I appreciate the link Fells, but I am not as versed in the "classics." I've read all the Ludlum books, and a League which I wasn't crazy about most Follett and some Forsyth. But overall I enjoy the more recent stuff. I do like Cold War and enjoyed some Robert Kittery. But mostly I read the new guys.
