I appreciate the link Fells, but I am not as versed in the "classics." I've read all the Ludlum books, and a League which I wasn't crazy about most Follett and some Forsyth. But overall I enjoy the more recent stuff. I do like Cold War and enjoyed some Robert Kittery. But mostly I read the new guys.
