10 - A book with a main character in their 20's
I’ve read so many historical romances with characters in their 20s!!! But of course I can’t think of any now. (But many Regency romances will have heroines in their 20s - it’s always a fake big deal that’s she’s a spinster, yadda yadda yadda ...)

Oh! That brings to mind The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery. The main character, Valancy, is 29 and a spinster treated very poorly by her family. She gets a medical diagnosis that urges her to live it up! It's a wonderful book!

This was my first thought too because I’m doing a re read of series but I’m on Anne of Ingleside and I think she would be in her 30’s by that time

I think I might end up with a historical romance here...

Lots of Sophie Kinsella's main characters would fit into this category: Fixie Farr in I Owe You One, Becky Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic is in her mid-twenties, Lara in Twenties Girl, Emma in Can You Keep a Secret?, Katie in My Not So Perfect Life.

According to Wikipedia, the age of P.G. Wodehouse's Bertie Wooster is between 24 and 29 during the course of the stories.
In Adrian Mole: The Wilderness Years, Adrian is 23 3/4 years of age.

I just started Moon of the Crusted Snow and the protagonist is 24! I thought about saving it for 2020, but it seems pretty good, and I’m sure I can find something else later ;-)

I think so. I'd have to go back and check, but I feel like Feyre is only 19 or maybe 20 when the book opens.

Okay. Thanks for your answers. I'll take the chance and if it doesn't fit then I'll just use it for some other prompt. If no one get there first I will come back later with the answer :-)

By the end of the series I thought the main character was in her 20s... can't remember where I read that though

According to the All Souls Trilogy fandom wiki, Diana Bishop is 33 years old."
Thanks for checking!! : )

I'm currently reading it and since it takes place in ..."
Thanks for this Jillian, helps a lot to be sure :)

Thank you, I was wondering about Persuasion! It's the only one of the main six Jane Austens not on my list, and considering I manage to shoehorn in a reread of Pride and Prejudice at least once every couple of years, you'd think I'd have managed to read the rest!

Oh! Do you know how old Rue is in Prudence? I have been wanting to start that series.

Also, the next book in the series, Phineas Finn is about Phineas when he is in his twenties.
Also, the vast majority of the women in Code Girls: The Untold Story of the American Women Code Breakers Who Helped Win World War II were in their twenties, including some of the ones featured the most.

Some of the characters were (Bunny for sure).

Cool! This is on my TBR list!

I just finished ACOTAR and can confirm that Feyre is only 19 in the first book BUT you could use book #1 for over 20 letters in the title or vision enhancement/impairment (Lucien! and arguably Rhysand as well) and use Mist & Fury for this prompt!! There's mention of Feyre's birthday towards the beginning of ACOMAF =)

yes - it's stated in the novel she's exactly 27 while the story is unfolding.

Cute stories, all characters are in their 20s.
What Happens In New York
I might read the third one in the series for this prompt.
