I'm planning to read Twelve Unending Summers: Memoir of an Immigrant Child by Cholet Kelly Josue for this one.

I just saw A Good Provider is One Who Leaves by Jason DeParle on a “Best Books of 2019” list and thought I’d share. It looks like it might be a good one for this category :)

I read The Night Counter by Alia Yunis.

This book was on sale sometime recently so I purchased it and I'm glad I did. At some point I'll have my daughter read it. The first hand account of arriving on the shores of the US through the immigration process was both difficult and interesting to read.
