I watched the new How to Train Your Dragon movie recently and it--was--awesome! I would say I enjoyed it as much as I did the animated version. It also made me laugh, I got emotional several times (it's heavily nostalgic), and it's just a really good movie overall.

This isn't a bookish thought, but it does relate.
My family watched the movie, Sing 2, recently, and I must say--I'm impressed with the villain and hero interactions. Buster the koala and Jimmy Crystal the wolf have such a great villain/hero dynamic. It made me think of reading a book. You'd have to watch the movie to understand, but the creators do very well with the interactions. Such great imagination fuel!

I've been revising, rewriting, and editing my book for the past year and a half. It's finally almost finished. Things have been nuts on my end! I'm almost done with my website, and have been focused on growing my book. I don't have a date finalized--but I'm hoping it'll be all set for later this year!

Hey everyone! I’ve been really busy lately rewriting my book (yes—rewriting it!) I’m having it professionally edited and will have it finished sometime in the next couple of months—or so. But I’m going to work on getting it republished next fall!!! I’m super excited!!!! It’s going to be so much better!!

I’ve got some exciting stuff going on for my first book—“How the Magic Began ~ The Star”!!!!!

I have to say, if someone gives your book a bad review, but there’s no constructive criticism, just ignore it. I mean, if it’s just a rant without actual good reasons why they don’t like the book, it’s not worth paying attention to. Use it to motivate you to write more! Sounds counterintuitive, but it works! I’ve already started doing it!

I’m realizing that Father Brown (the tv series), is giving me motivation and helping to strengthen my faith. The Catholic faith is also super fascinating (I’m Protestant), and the stories portray it well! I would definitely recommend this series—both book and tv—to anyone and everyone! You don’t have to be just Christian to watch it, it’s for everyone, whether some out there might realize or not.

I just wanted to go ahead and say this—I know I’ve sort of made a mention of this at one point, but I am so sick and tired of seeing any kind of porn in books! It sickens me and makes me so sad to see it all glorified and praised in books (in movies as well). Too many people—males and females—are forced and shamed into this depravity. And so many relationships are torn. This is NOT what God wants.
