Paperback: The Waiting is Over!
The long journey is over and I have reached my destination! After a long delay and lots of postponing, my novella A World Without Color is available as paperback!
On September 13, 2017 it was released for publication on CreateSpace and since yesterday, September 16, 2017, it is available for purchase on Amazon as well.
If you prefer a paperback over an e-book (like me), go grab your copy!
You curl up in your new hideout, and the soft light of the April afternoon washes your worn-out body. You are aware of my closeness. You confirm that with a gentle sigh while my palm tenderly slides down your fur. You still like my touch, although pain is what you now mostly feel. And uncertainty—but for how long?
Beside the new paperback release, A World Without Color e-book is until September 25 in the Anniversary Giveaway on the Animal Bliss blog. Enter it now to get a chance to be one of the two lucky winners!
If you like the cover of my book, please cast a vote for it in AUTHORSdb Cover Contest 2017 and help it make it to the next round!
Thank you for purchasing and reading A World Without Color, for writing an honest review and posting it on Amazon and for giving my book a long life!
Thank you for your patience and for not losing faith in me!

Unexpectedly, My Book Has Already Arrived!
I did not plan on writing this blog post today but thanks to the unexpected gift from CreateSpace I couldn't keep silent and not share my great joy with you!
Twelve days before the estimated delivery date I got the paperback copies of my novella A World Without Color! This is such a surprise because CreateSpace gave me a beautiful gift of TIME for the copies I ordered and paid almost a month ago. Isn't that awesome?!
Have you also ordered a copy of my book for yourself or as a gift for someone else? You can still do that on Amazon or CreateSpace, whichever you prefer.
Since I am in such a good mood now, I want to share with you a short excerpt from my book which hasn't been posted anywhere on the Internet yet.
As if it was encoded in your genes, you hated to travel by car, so we took you only a few times to the unknown environment of our cottage. During the ride, you would take revenge on us by throwing up and doing the big business in the car which prompted us to open the windows in a hurry. You therefore spent most of your time with us in the apartment, showing yourself as a worthy, fearless and skilled hunter, as were your ancestors and brothers. If I recall well, on two occasions Mom had to remove from your little jaws stiff and scared sparrows you caught on the balcony. Your walk on the thin railing, beyond which was a yawning chasm to the concrete courtyard sixty-five feet below, chilled our blood! Even now I’m shaking from the thought of what would have happened if you slipped, and what would be left of you if your twenty-two pounds—what you weighed back then—began to plunge. How many years of life you took from us then, and yet you are the one who is leaving before us all....
If you are also in the mood for giving and sharing, I thank you for purchasing a copy of my book!
But I also thank you for supporting my good friend and indie author Angel Medina. In my October 3rd alert Act For Puerto Rico: Helping One Man Is Like Helping A Whole Nation I asked you to purchase one or more of his books because he was trapped on the island of Puerto Rico devastated by two hurricanes—Irma and Maria. I didn't hear from him, I had no news of him except having the faith that he was all right.
Angel is no longer in Puerto Rico. He had to move to his family in New York City because life in Puerto Rico is still a reality version of a nightmare for people there.
Angel is safe, but he doesn't know when he will return home. He still needs our help. So if you care to purchase one of his books together with mine, I would be very grateful to you. If you cannot afford to buy and read two authors instead of one, then please choose Angel's book. Helping Angel is like helping me, for if it wasn't for Angel there is a great chance I still wouldn't be an indie author and you still wouldn't be able to read A World Without Color.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

PAPERBACK
EBOOK
I like my ebook cover, but paperback looks even better! Don't you think so too? Mario Kožar from MKM Media did a splendid job! If you like his style and how he does my book covers, visit his website and shoot him a message.
Speaking of book covers: As you know, Look for Me Under the Rainbow is competing for Cover of the month May in AllAuthor contest. Being enrolled a day later than other books, it is ranked #6 with 105 votes. If you think it deserves a better rank, please vote for it now and tell your friends to do so too. If you've already voted, don't worry, you can vote again because it's the new round of the contest. Thanks!
Here is a little something from me to you, a short random excerpt from my book Look for Me Under the Rainbow.
Jon woke up and remained motionless. Not only because he felt an icy stab of fear when he noticed Danny had disappeared, but also because of the scene that surrounded him. Scattered icebergs floated wearily in the sea, the sky clear and bright like a sincere smile—only instead of a smile, the sun shined cheerfully. Best of all, the black no longer stained the ocean. Gone, as if it never existed. The only traces were small black stains on the edge of the ice floe and Jon’s fur, still almost completely coated in the oily substance. But he could not enjoy the beauty of the scene because Danny was missing which brought the realization he was alone. That frightened him more than anything. The silence surrounding him made him uneasy and he felt panic rising in his throat.

January River Paperback
Another joyous day because on April 20 I have released a paperback edition of my novel January River on Amazon!
This heartwarming cross-genre story, a fine mix of literary fiction, coming-of-age, mystery, and romance, about five friends, one dog and one river carrying a secret is available as paperback on Amazon for only $10.99.
Animal and dog lovers, don’t skip it because this is a story for you too!
When one of their friends goes missing, everything comes crashing down for the small group of childhood friends in the small town of Greenfield. Ethan takes it hard. Then he loses his dog, his only consolation.
Hoping to start anew, Ethan leaves Greenfield and moves to New York City. Far from the ghosts of his childhood and the river that gives and takes life. There he finds his one true love and builds a career as a bestselling author.
But how long will Ethan’s happiness last as doubts creep back into him and shatter his reality? And will his reconciliation with the past come at too great a price?
All rivers carry their secrets, but not every river keeps its secret forever.
Here are the links to January River as paperback and eBook.
Please don’t forget to leave an honest review at the platforms below and recommend it by word of mouth.

Cruel Summer Paperback
It took a small conspiracy to publish the paperback edition of my novel Cruel Summer! Since Amazon has restricted international delivery of print books to Croatia, I couldn’t order my proof copy to approve it before publishing it. I’ve been waiting for a month for this restriction to be removed, but no one could tell me when that would happen.
Out of pure desperation, I asked my US based friend Thomas if he could help me with checking out my proof copy. He said yes; I sent him my book from Amazon; he took photos of it and emailed them to me. When I was certain that the book was ready to be released, I hit the publish button and published my paperback.
This is a story on how the story of an abused teenage skateboarder, Michael Daniels, came to life on March 8, 2021 on Amazon. Its paperback price is $17.99 and you can order it here.
Michael Daniels is seventeen and dreams to enter professional skateboarding contests. But beneath New Manhattan, a city under the oppressive shadow of climate change, exists another world altogether—secret laboratories which threaten society as he knows it.
Those with power will get what they want. No price is too high, even if it means making someone special or robbing them of their dignity, freedom . . . or life.
The price is too high for Michael, though. He has endured his stepfather’s abuse and mind games for almost as long as he remembers. Until one day he takes matters into his own hands, ruining the lives of those he loves most. And his skateboarding friends, Alien and Victor, are his only hope for freedom.
I hope this blurb is catchy enough for you to get your copy or buy it as a gift for someone else.
The book cover is beautifully designed by Dean Cole and I guarantee you, you will love it. Dean’s design is mind-blowing. He perfectly portrayed the spirit and the theme of the novel. I don't doubt that holding this book in your hands will give you a special reading experience.
