Paul Young was born in Boise, Idaho to Doug and Candi Young. The youngest of five children, Paul enjoyed playing games and spending time outside. He participated in fashion shows, where his older sisters would dress him up like a girl and parade him through the house for all to see. At the age of five, his family moved to Twin Falls and set up permanent residence.
Paul's writing interests began in high school when he got his hands on a notebook and wrote a page of fiction fantasy. He passed the notebook to a friend who wrote a second page. The notebook was traded back and forth between the two friends many times. Ultimately, they decided to call the story, 'A Story for the Weak Stomach'.

While solving mysteries, answering questions, and resolving the story, I take a step back and ask this question. In the two epilogues of each my books, for example, I take my perfectly ended book and throw a wrench into the works. This leaves the reader to try to figure out why a certain character acted like they did, and want to read more to find out the answer. It also gives me a chance to stretch my imagination and rewrite the next phase of the story.(less)
