Who Is King David In NOBLE: The Story of Maakah?

Have you ever felt nostalgic and looked through your high school yearbook? I recently salvaged a few old photos, and the memories came rushing back with them. Who was I in 2nd grade? Different from who I was in 8th grade! Who was I as a graduating senior? My inner transformation was more drastic than the outer transformation you see in these pictures.

God formed my identity through every stage, for

“But neither the mountains nor the people can rob you of the forgiveness God has given...unless you let them.”
Mesu Andrews, Love Amid The Ashes

“Forgiveness is like an olive tree, mistress. Once it takes root, it will grow, and it’s hard to kill.”
Mesu Andrews, Love Amid the Ashes

“The messages of a prophet...affect the decisions of kings. The decisions of kings determine not just the course of nations but also the life and death of individuals in those countries. If we become so enamored with our own little world that we disregard the nations, we are no better than those who focus on nations and ruthlessly disregard human life.”

Mesu It's good, but I had to read it in short spurts. Very troubling images conquered by God's continuous healing. It's raw but excellent.

Miralee This is the next book on my list to read. I've heard very good things about it and plan on blogging about it, as well. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
