I have a book out August 18 (tomorrow as I write this) and that's always exciting. Doubly exciting is that it will be my 88th release. How I got here, I almost don't know. 20 years in this industry and I've been so lucky to get to produce books I'm so proud of and continue to find readers and friends through what I do.

The Matter of a Marquess is a reunion romance, it features a curvy heroine and a hero permanently disabled by war injuries. Oh, and an amazing dog who lumbers through it all.

I loved writing this wonderful couple's way back to each other. I hope you'll love reading it.

Once again, it's release day. You'd think after 72 of these, I might get bored or something but it's always exciting, always thrilling, always filled with hope and fear. Hi everyone! Have you seen or listened to the soundtrack for the amazing Broadway musical Hamilton? There’s a song in the show called “Nonstop” and the line is, “Why do you write like you’re running out of time, write day and night like you’re running out of time?” Well, there’s a reason I sing along loudly to the song. It seems like I’m also Nonstop (you could do worse than have something in common with Alexander Hamilton).

It’s been a busy first half of the year thus far! I recently finished the first draft of the 9th book in the 1797 Club series and I’ll be starting the LAST book of that series next week! I’m excited and sad to see my dukes come to an end. Of course, we’re a long way from that. In fact TODAY the 7th book in the series is out! The Duke of Hearts is Matthew’s story and I know a lot of you have wondered about him and how he’ll get over the fiancée he tragically lost! Here is a quick description:

Once they’re alone together an unexpected connection begins to grow between these two people who have fought their emotions all their lives and more begins to heal than just Lucas’s broken body. I can’t believe that 2017 is almost over and the holidays are just around the corner.
