“The Near Side,” Imaginative New Comics Part 2

Part 2 of “The Near Side” brings you more strange finger sketches by Shannon (S.C. Monson).

Some people have glorified views of how writers write, peacefully sipping hot cocoa while they’re hand speeds right along on the keyboard like it’s grown a plotting brain of its own.

On occasion, I take the sketches more seriously. I used a reference from a drawing book gifted to me by a sweet family member. Unfinished finger sketch of Sophie, from “Howl’s Moving Castle.”
